Sudi’s sculptures are part of an on-going project begun in 1998. They are made of clay and fired in a kiln. The underlying theme of her sculptures is very poetical, philosophical, spiritual and allegorical, and at the same time satiric. Her sculptures resemble scenes of a theater in which she invites characters from different times of history and history of art to play in her scenarios.
Although Sudi breaches the barriers of time and space, while shifting and changing the standard perspectives and viewing angles, her characters play very harmoniously next to each other to convey her personal philosophy and messages about life. Sudi choreographs and coordinates these plays as if she is seeking the equilibrium in her own life.
